Just about every kid’s toy package is a complete waste. The frustration free packaging efforts by Amazon are a giant step in the right direction, if you’re thinking about the environmental, ease of opening and cost factors; but, it still doesn’t do enough.
What if the package made a kid smarter by having to have them learn something by opening it? What if it was a puzzle they had to put together correctly to unlock the package? What would a kids toy package be like if it required some way for the kid to do a chore around the house before it could be opened (and it didn’t make it look like it was the parent’s rule)? What if it had to be re-opened in a new way for the first ten times, thus inspiring learning and creativity in the kid.
