Ideas Every Day #250 – Amazon.com Holiday Package Inserts

As the end of the year gets closer and closer that could only mean that the holiday season is coming on in full swing.  Along with the holidays come the gifting season.  I tend to use Amazon.com or online shopping in general for the large majority of my gift purchases. To that end, I’m surprised Amazon hasn’t taken more steps yet to remind me to start fulfilling my holiday needs through them.

I think it would be a good way to stimulate my purchases for the holidays if in every Amazon package I receive starting around now I receive a little paper insert with XX days till XX holiday (make birthday reminders too).  Better yet, if they sent me a reminder of all the things and people I bought for last year, as referenced by Wish List shopping, I would start to remember just what I have to do and be more enticed to do it.

Sure, they’ll do some things the typical way with digital and use emails and on-site methods, but in today’s hyper digital world I think it might be good to do some offline executions as well.

What offline ways could make your holidays more productive this upcoming season?

Yes, and…
