As I back up my computer and think about moving everything to the cloud I wonder about what personal info. I have stored on my computer and whether or not I would want that put into a cloud storage solution. Then, I think about the task of going through every directory in my file system and scanning the name of every file to try and remember what exactly is in there and it quickly makes me move away from the task of backing everything up.
How about an easy way to put in search criteria, like your personal info., then have something scan your computer and move all of the files that contain personal info. into a new folder.
Sure, there are some services and built in search into some OS’s – but nothing specifically targeted towards finding, collecting and protecting your personal info.. Seems like a whole suite of features besides search could be built in that concept.
