Ideas Every Day #116 – Child Proximity Bracelets

Did you ever see those parents that have their kids attached to a leash?  Well, I’ve been close to doing that so I’m not saying they’re necessarily wrong, but there has to be a better way to make sure your kids didn’t run away from you while not having a leash attached to their back.

How about a simple bracelet that the kid wears that sends a signal (or the absence of the bracelet in range makes the app signal) to a parent’s cell phone if it wanders out of a pre described range.

It doesn’t even have to be a bracelet, it could even be a small pin or something that attaches anywhere to the kid’s clothing.

What other ridiculous (but useful) parenting item could you make better?

Yes, and…
