Ideas Every Day #29 – Automatic Web Favorites

Some browsers are getting better at building in start pages that show your most visited or “favorite” web pages but they are still very far behind a truly personalized, easily customized portal type experience.

Why not develop the automatic favorites page that is more easily accessible (like a custom short URL instead of having to be logged in), easier to update (automatic and one button placement and easy movement), and also automatically filters out your site usage on sites you own and use with an analytics program anytime you come in from that site (without having to customize that feature in tools like Google Analytics.)

Make it easier for us to use the web the way we want and put all our content in one place.
