I hear a lot of people complain and get upset that the thing they’re working on with others or something going on in their organization is a lot of ‘hurry up and wait.’
If that’s you, here are two ways to fix it:
- Stop waiting. Keep pushing through whatever is stopping it. Do someone else’s work too if they’re the one forcing it to wait.
- Get a better list of stuff to do. Is that thing that’s in ‘wait mode’ the only thing you can work on? If so, you need more things to do.
