Business Cases, Models and Systems Introduced in 2010

10 business models that rocked 2010 – by @nickdemey

I’ve always been a big fan of business models and business model innovation so when I stumbled upon this presentation on SlideShare I was intrigued. Of course, by the time it came out it was already pretty far into 2011, but anytime you can step back and analyze a business model is time well spent. So check out the presentation and see what you think. When you’re done, try and apply those new models in even newer ways to see what you think will be on the list for 2011.

If you’d like a great workbook for business model generation I’d also recommend Business Model Generation. It’s a pretty good primer of the various components of business models and how you can integrate those components together in various ways to get very different methods of running the company and generating revenue.

Also, if you’re interested in the SlideShare story, I’d highly recommend listening to a talk by 2 of the companie’s founders (that also happen to be married, which brought an interesting spin to the story as well). It’s a great example of building a company and getting it off the ground fast.
